La laaaa la laaa

Dated: 11/16/07, Friday

Dear World,

I’m writing once again. Isn’t it funny, how I won’t write in a journal, because I don’t trust people that might look at it, but I post all the stuff I do on the internet where anyone can access it?

Hmm… That’s brain food for you. I guess it’s because the people don’t know me, so they can’t really judge me. So I can say anything I want.

Like the fact that I have plans to assassinate Fidel Castro and his family.

(Not really. For those of you out there who can’t take a joke, ATTENTION!! That was a joke. People who love that guy…I’M FRIENDLY!!!)

Anyways…

Did I ever tell you about my Saturday? It was awesome. Saturday is like the only day my parents get the day off, so we went out and had fun. :D

We went to Barnes and Nobles first, where I decided to educate myself and understand the world me better. (Translation: I went and bought a few classics.) At the moment, I’m reading The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I might have spelled his name wrong, but that’s his fault for having a name like Nathaniel. I’m on page 70 something. It might seem like a lot, but the author’s note thingy is like 50 pages (which I skipped entirely) so I really haven’t read anything yet. I also bought War and Peace. It seems a bit more interesting than Nathaniel over here.

But anyways, since I am a sucker for non-classics, I also bought The Naming. If you tell me what happens, I swear to God, I will find you and sew your mouth close.

Happy thoughts Ang, happy happy thoughts.

D:<

After the bookstore we walked around and met these men who where giving out fake poppies. We gave them donations for their programs, and in exchange, I received a pamphlet. It was pretty interesting. The donations we give them goes supporting veterans’ families, and the veterans themselves. They’re called Buddy Poppies, which are trademarks to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. They got their name from a poem by Col. John McCrae called “In Flanders Field”. Next time you see them, say hi, grab a flower, a pamphlet and a give a donation. Changing the subject, we went to HomeTown Buffet after that, so it’s allllll good.

So, well, it is pretty dark and scary right now, and my eyes kind of hurt, so I shall leave soon… Like… right…now!
