Getting Lazy

It's been 9 days since I last posted...

Yikes.

I've been planning to, but every time I get to this, something else always distracts me.

Anyways, lalala, I'm pretty happy right now...BECAUSE MY MOM LET ME GO TO DISNEYLAND WITH MY FRIENDS LAST SATURDAY!!!

It was awesome. AWESOME. Hahahaha, we messed around so much. My friend, Jen, even bought silly string and silly-stringed all of us. There was...Me, (no duh) Tina, Jennifer, Jennifer, Christine, Justin and Henry.

LMAO. IT WAS SOOOOOO FUN!!!

I seriously will never forget that. I couldn't even believe that my parents let me go!!!

I'm ecstatic right now. Ecstatic. I like that word. Ecstatic. :D

I was playing Monopoly with my cousin yesterday, (I won, with over 6 thousand dollars, and my cousin owed me 1546 O-o) when my uncle went home with a new Wii system for my cousin. We all sat open-mouthed at him, and I couldn't help but say, "OH MY GOD, PATRICK, YOU LUCKY SON OF A KIWI, YOU GOT A WII!!!"

Well, my family stared at me, on my account of saying "You son of a".

But...this week has been awesome so far. I hope it keeps up!!

Even the weather is getting cooler!! Too bad school starts in 6 days though... ;-;

Where has the summer gone???

Ah well. I read a pretty good book yesterday, "Girl in Blue" bu Ann Rinaldi. It was about the Civil War. Before, I used to think that the Civil War was a bore, but now I can't get enough of it now.

The Union, fighting to unite their country, (but later changed to freeing the slaves, in order to get the European's sympathy) and how the South fought for their way of life.

I also loved the South's fighting technique. If it were not for their cause for the war, I would have been all for them. With their small population, war-genius generals, (GO STONEWALL AND LEE!!) and determination, they very nearly beat the populous but poorly trained Northerners.

I have to give it to Grant, though because of him, many men were killed and plus... he was a silly drunk.

I'm trying to read classics too. "Treasure Island" and "A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court". :D
